We laughed a little more

We rejoiced in everything America had to offer

Now in the blink of an eye

It all has been taken away from us

Our joy,

Our innocence,

Our confidence....Our Freedom

We walk without movement

And breath without air

We speak without words

We act without care

Fore we have lost

The one thing true in this world

Our freedom to live life without doubt,

Without fear

Without opening our eyes at night,

wondering if the end is near

Freedom is a word we must remember not to forget
